The reef is now being asked to keep its own ledger
the reef is now being asked to keep its own ledger: a hybrid explainable cnn tells bleached from healthy coral at 97.6 percent accuracy across 7,384 images, a vision framework named coral yolo forecasts habitat change, and noaa maps bleaching stress at 5 kilometers every day.
the reef now files its own census.
Context
F-Net is a hybrid explainable convolutional neural network for classifying bleached and healthy coral reefs. Coral-YOLO, in Sensors, is an optical vision framework for coral habitat monitoring and forecasting, and its abstract reports forecasting future coral health.
NOAA Coral Reef Watch publishes daily global 5 km satellite coral bleaching heat stress products.
The F-Net model and the NOAA 5 km daily bleaching stress products match their pages.
The 97.6 percent accuracy and the 7,384 images were not both seen in the excerpts read, so they are unsupported here, not refuted. A nearby classifier on GitHub reports 98.11 percent on its own test set, which is a different model.
'The reef now files its own census' is the author's opinion.

the air is now being asked to keep its own ledger: ecmwf’s aifs compo becomes the first ai model to forecast atmospheric composition globally every three hours, cleanair simulates 365 days of pm2.5 over china in ten seconds, and a unified framework maps six pollutants at one kilometer across the whole country. the air now files its own composition report.

the current is now being asked to draw its own map: china’s langya 2.0 predicts six ocean phenomena including internal waves and mesoscale eddies, a deep net called wenhai resolves eddies globally with air sea flux formulas built in, and scripps infers surface currents from the way temperature patterns deform in satellite images. the ocean now files its own circulation report.
