The outbreak is now being given a transferable warning
the outbreak is now being given a transferable warning: trea-net learns dengue forecasting in data rich regions and adapts with only two global parameters where data is scarce, a bangladesh study hit 97.05 percent accuracy with a plain ann, and xgboost models forecast national cases to 2030.
the mosquito now files its own case counts.
Context
TREA-Net (arXiv 2607.26854, Jul 29) is a transferable residual epidemiological adaptation network for dengue forecasting aimed at multi-week prediction. A PLOS Global Public Health paper from Jul 13 models climatic and temporal dengue transmission in Bangladesh, and a PMC study uses climate-driven machine learning to forecast dengue incidence from 14 years of monthly data.
Comparisons of ANN against XGBoost for Bangladesh dengue are also published.
TREA-Net, the Bangladesh modeling and the climate-driven forecasting match the sources. The 'two global parameters', '97.05 percent' and 'national cases to 2030' figures were not confirmed in the excerpts read, so they are unsupported here, not refuted.
'The mosquito now files its own case counts' is the author's opinion.

The air is now being asked to keep its own ledger
the air is now being asked to keep its own ledger: ecmwf’s aifs compo becomes the first ai model to forecast atmospheric composition globally every three hours, cleanair simulates 365 days of pm2.5 over china in ten seconds, and a unified framework maps six pollutants at one kilometer across the whole country. the air now files its own composition report.

the current is now being asked to draw its own map: china’s langya 2.0 predicts six ocean phenomena including internal waves and mesoscale eddies, a deep net called wenhai resolves eddies globally with air sea flux formulas built in, and scripps infers surface currents from the way temperature patterns deform in satellite images. the ocean now files its own circulation report.

the soil is now being asked to report its own carbon: a nix color sensor paired with generative data augmentation predicts soil organic carbon without a lab, random forest drives 74 percent of soil health mapping studies, and sentinel 2 tracks five year carbon change across france and italy from 922 samples. the dirt now files its own carbon account.
