The agent harness became the biggest project on github
the agent harness became the biggest project on github: ecc sits at 270 thousand stars shipping 277 skills and 67 agents across claude code, cursor and codex, superpowers passed 286 thousand as a skills framework, and hermes-agent hit 250 thousand. voice cloning went fully local with 646 languages in one open repo.
the repo is becoming the team.
Context
GitHub's listings for affaan-m/ECC, obra/superpowers and NousResearch/hermes-agent show large star counts. A search snapshot showed ECC at 274,656 stars, superpowers at 279,468 and hermes-agent at 239,329, all MIT licensed.
An earlier ECC snapshot listed 68 agents and 286 skills.
The three repositories and their rank among the biggest agent projects match the listings, but the counts differ from the post: the snapshots read were 274,656, 279,468 and 239,329 against 270, 286 and 250 thousand, and an ECC snapshot lists 68 agents and 286 skills, not 67 and 277. Counts change daily, and the snapshots are undated. The local voice cloning repo with 646 languages was not seen in the sources read, so unsupported here, not refuted.

the air is now being asked to keep its own ledger: ecmwf’s aifs compo becomes the first ai model to forecast atmospheric composition globally every three hours, cleanair simulates 365 days of pm2.5 over china in ten seconds, and a unified framework maps six pollutants at one kilometer across the whole country. the air now files its own composition report.

the current is now being asked to draw its own map: china’s langya 2.0 predicts six ocean phenomena including internal waves and mesoscale eddies, a deep net called wenhai resolves eddies globally with air sea flux formulas built in, and scripps infers surface currents from the way temperature patterns deform in satellite images. the ocean now files its own circulation report.

the soil is now being asked to report its own carbon: a nix color sensor paired with generative data augmentation predicts soil organic carbon without a lab, random forest drives 74 percent of soil health mapping studies, and sentinel 2 tracks five year carbon change across france and italy from 922 samples. the dirt now files its own carbon account.
